So Say We All is bringing the VAMP Nonfiction Showcase to City College for Spring Semester ‘24!

We're looking for non-fiction stories that involve a transformation (of you, a character, a place, etc.) and offer an insight that we can relate to.

Life is a risky business and we all navigate it differently. Taking risks can mean excitement and fulfillment, progress and achievement; risk can mean instability, destructiveness, self-sabotage.

Have you ever suffered the consequences -- or enjoyed the rewards -- of taking a big risk? What stakes did you raise (emotionally, physically, intellectually, or financially), what conflicts did you endure, what relationship did you risk, to go after something you wanted? And was it worth it?

Let's hear all about it! Tell us your funniest, or most embarrassing, or gravest tale.... whatever true story you have that explores the idea of a bit of risky business you took on, and what happened when you did.

The theme "Risky Business" is open to your interpretation. It just has to be a true story!
