We have them for better or worse: traditions. For many of us, they fall in the month of December. However, they happen not just on holidays, but at many life events: weddings, graduations, prayers, feasts, funerals. You name it, it might just have a tradition attached. At this month’s LSS, we’re going to dive into the things we do to try to give our lives order and meaning — whether they make sense or not.
At Long Story Short, tell your true story without notes in five minutes or less, in a fun environment with no pressure. Anyone can throw their name into our hat and be called upon randomly to share their story. Or you can just watch! Long Story Short follows the idea of a campfire, where we tell tales, bond and make friends, and pass the talking stick (ok, you come up to the microphone). Take Your Turn!
