Holidays are synonymous with homecomings, but so often we either feel like strangers, surrounded my strangers, or such suffocation we need to make ourselves tourists just to claim some air. That’s where the best advice ever given to holiday tourists was born from: stay at a hotel! The distance of the heart when everyone comes back together is the foundation of So Say We All’s holiday parlay and we always keep a seat open for you.

October San Diego VAMP: Dark & Stormy
It was a dark and stormy night these stories were brewed, lit by candles and lightning, smelling of danger and lovers and liquor, seasoned by fear and adventure. We’ve poured them all into our cauldron and mixed them up, set up the shots to give you a ride of emotions you’ll feel in the morning, and shot a hole in the ceiling to let the weather in. Cheers to great stories.

It's possible Todd is a big bag of lies.
It's possible you have your own inner Todd.

May Los Angeles VAMP: Versus
Every good story requires conflict but this month we want that conflict served up HOT AND IN OUR FACE! We want to pick a side, root for strangers, and cheer the devastation of the losers! And maybe, just maybe, we’ll realize the journey was the reward the whole time, but most likely we’ll be totally fine celebrating phyric victories and making people we don’t like sad.

Produced by So Say We All, a 501c3 literary and performing arts nonprofit based in Southern CA, The VAMP Storytelling Showcase is a highly-produced, non-fiction, multimedia reading series. Each showcase revolves around a different theme, which is heavily open to interpretation by submitting writers. Out of each round of submitting writers, a cohort is selected to work together over the course of 3-4 weeks in read-and-critique sessions, provided with writing and performance coaches, and finally provided with a live showcase to perform their original true stories.
