NaNoWhaNow?

Do some no-pressure creative writing for the rest of the month with So Say We All

Hello superb humans!

It’s that time of year when many writers put unbearable pressure on themselves to write a book in a month. It can be done, and if you’re participating, know that we believe in you, and we’re rooting for you. HOWEVER, if you’re not participating; if you’ve tried before and failed; if you just can’t do it because of work and kids and school and meetings and errands and chores and depression and brain fog and all manner of obstacles; we STILL believe in you and are rooting for you. Even though you may not be up for NaNoWriMo, you are a good writer and a good person.

Forget a novel. Forget meeting a word count every day. But you can write something: be it a short story, a monologue, character study, poem, paragraph, creative pie chart, whatever. We at So Say We All are presenting, a little late in the month (because this is for all the procrastinators, too): NaNoWhaNow?

NaNoWhaNow? Will give you a new writing prompt every day for the rest of the month. Use them to jump-start your creativity however you see fit. Feel free to share the results with us and your SSWA friends on our Discord server, where all this will be happening! If you don’t have time to take part every day, that’s ok. Do what you can. But we’re hoping that by keeping expectations small, you can relieve some pressure and produce something every damn day indeed.

To join our Discord server, where chats are much more private than on other social media sites and aren’t overseen by creepy, greedy meta-lords, click here: https://discord.gg/P29uVB92TS

Once you’ve signed up (it’s free and easy), you’ll be taken swiftly to SSWA’s Discord page, where you can browse our different topics (“channels”) and join in the chats! You’ll see channels for VAMP, SSWA podcasts, memes, and NaNoWhaNow?

So come on over! Write a li’l something, feel good about it, share it (or don’t), and be a part of your writing community.

Prompts will go up daily! See you soon,

So Say We All
