This August we’re respecting the hustle with stories about some of the more extreme and outlandish things people have done for money, but anyone who tells people to just pull themselves up by their bootstraps deserves to be strangled with bootstraps. Late stage capitalism: it might be ruining everyone’s lives, but it sure makes for some goofy stories along the way.
